“SUMMER ISLAND IDYLL” ON GENTING DREAM

Building on the success and overwhelming response of the “Island Escapade” to Kuala Lumpur (Port Klang), Penang and Phuket, Dream Cruises has announced that Genting Dream will continue her Singapore homeport deployment with a delightful “Summer Island Idyll” itinerary, featuring new ports of call to Pulau Redang in Malaysia, Sihanoukville in Cambodia, Jakarta in Indonesia, as well as Ko Samui and Bangkok (Laem Chabang) in Thailand.

“As part of our commitment to inspire our guests with transformative vacations at sea, we are constantly looking for innovative destinations to create itineraries that will elevate the cruising experience,” said Mr. Thatcher Brown, President of Dream Cruises. “With the success of our current Island Escapade cruises, we are delighted to introduce Genting Dream’s first summer itinerary from Singapore and showcasing her maiden calls to Pulau Redang – Malaysia, Sihanoukville – Cambodia, Jakarta – Indonesia, and Ko Samui and Bangkok, Thailand. Singapore continues to be an important strategic homeport offering great infrastructure, particularly for our fly-cruise guests.”

From 14 April to 12 October, Genting Dream will offer two alternating 5-night Summer Island Idyll itineraries, starting with an exhilarating journey that spans three countries – Pulau Redang in Malaysia, Sihanoukville in Cambodia and Bangkok in Thailand, followed by a mid-summer cruise to Pulau Redang in Malaysia, Ko Samui and Bangkok in Thailand departing on 24 June and 2 September. Guests who wish to have a quick staycation at sea may opt for the popular Singapore Weekend Getaway, which departs every Friday. The popular Treasures of Indonesia 5-night itinerary will return in the months of May to December, taking guests on an exotic journey to Surabaya and North Bali.

On 1 April and 25 November, Genting Dream will have special voyages to the capital city of Indonesia. Guests may treat themselves to spectacular harbour view, extensive sightseeing and shopping in Indonesia’s capital city on this exclusive 5-night cruise to Surabaya and Jakarta, where the cruise ship will berth overnight to allow ample port stay hours.

On 29 July, Genting Dream will go on a special 5-night cruise to Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Phuket, where guests will enjoy the landscape, culture and cuisine of Malaysia and Thailand, without the hassle of commuting and packing as they travel to multiple countries.
