Reed Travel Exhibitions has announced a global agreement designating oneworld® as its exclusive airline alliance partner for 19 events in 2016, including the Asia-Pacific Incentives & Meetings Expo (AIME) in Melbourne, 23 – 24 February 2016.
From December 2015 visitors to AIME will be able to make flight reservations via www.oneworld.com/events for travel to and from AIME 2016 in Melbourne, Australia, and receive discounted fares for themselves and a companion. Visitors can fly on any oneworld member airline, including 15 of the world’s leading carriers, serving more than 1,000 destinations in 150 plus countries.
Hosted by the Melbourne Convention Bureau (MCB), the 24th annual AIME, will connect a global community of over 4,000 people for two powerful days of networking, education and business.
Ian Wainwright, Event Director – AIME, Reed Travel Exhibitions is delighted that this partnership with oneworld will bring significant benefits for visitors to AIME.
“This alliance will deliver a host of benefits for visitors to any of Reed Travel Exhibitions’ 19 shows across the globe and will offer unprecedented opportunities for visitors from around the world to attend AIME 2016.
“Through this initiative, we are enabling a greater audience access to AIME, the largest event of its kind in Australia. Visitors to AIME have the opportunity to meet with a range of venues, suppliers, technology companies, agencies, convention bureaux and many more from across the globe – all under one roof.
“AIME is where inspiration begins, and an increase in international visitors will bolster global knowledge sharing, world-wide insights and support regional networking and development” said Mr Wainwright.
Members of any oneworld member airline frequent flyer programme will be able to take advantage of their usual privileges and benefits along the way – including earning miles/points and, for top tier cardholders and one companion each, the use any of the 650 plus airport lounges provided by the alliance’s airlines the world over.
Booking codes for AIME via oneworld will be available via www.aime.com.au from December 2015.
